I saw some of the reviews saying it's a slow burn...way tooo slow like the romance between ml and fl starts after 100 chptrs or something...as in that's when fl accepts ml's love or something like that

I read 20 chapters of the webtoon and it's...frustrating ;_;
The art is really great, the characters are likeable too, I also think there is a solid story, I love FL's dad and older brother!

Spoiler: about the FL

About the FL, in spite of being known as an exceptional magician, she couldn't use magic at all...she thought it was because she possessed that body and didn't know how to do it, but she discovered that her body was actually sick, she suffered from Magic Amnesia and while a cure does exist, it's extremely rare and expensive: 20 millions of a rare mana stones called Tiels since she needs a whole 1kg of it for her full treatment, and we are talking about something so rare and difficult to find that they sell it 1g at a time, meaning that to get the whole 1kg not only she would be need tons of money but also would have to collect it from the whole kindgom (she learns this in chapters 4-5 of the webtoon, so pretty early on)
So now, she is using her knowledge of the novel to make money: she remembered that soon enough, many nobles would end up having grave skin issues: in the novel, the crown prince's fiancé is the one who finds the cure and hands the herbs for free, but FL won't do that, she needs money! What she doesn't know is that said marvelous and angelic fiancé is a dark mage out for blood, who wants her out of her way now that she realized the damned CP seems to be showing her some interest since FL stopped pursuing him, and who is actually the one responsibly for said skin disease: she is selling it as a rare and expensive miraculous product called Manantial of the Sun, who is said to be able to cure every skin conditions and make your skin brilliant and beautiful too, but the reality is that this product can lead to having a really grave skin disease, and since she is the only one who knows the remedy, she was counting on this to keep her saintly image by 'saving' all the nobles handing for free the herbs needed in the future when there is an outbreak.

The evil fiancé actually came all the way to her home uninvited and tried to provoke the FL, thinking the easiest way to get ride of her is if FL attacks her again and hurts her, then she would be punished and jailed for it, so the fiancé went on and on about the fact FL was still pursuing the CP, that she was just pretending to give up but was actually using Duke Yiels to make the CP curious and jealous, a strategy often used by women; that FL had their date at a spot near the castle in purpose so that the CP would see her (the day FL's dad arranged their first meeting at a café, it was indeed close to the castle, and after she left the café she did meet the crown prince who went into his delusional rant about her still liking him, and he even hold her back by grabbing her hand when she turned and tried to leave, hence came the ML who was still around, whole helped her leave) etc. Anyway, it failed: the FL didn't react in spite of all the accusations and crying. In the end FL older brother came into the room and said that it was enough with the bullshit and to leave. The fiancé excused herself saying she got too emotional but there was a reason: she showed a gift box next to her and said it had been given to her by the CP, but that when she opened it there was a letter for the FL inside instead, she was so nervous and distressed that she came to see FL unannounced and got angry...which is all a lie of course, the gift box, letter and content are all from her. What's inside is actually the Manantial of the Sun. She was counting on the FL's obsession for the ML to definitely use the gift, but now she wasn't so sure FL would. In the carriage back to the castle we can see talking to a little demon, she had charged him to find the older brother's bracelet (related to another event in a precious chapter where she sent a giant aggressive demon to the older brother, at home, because the bro had noticed some traces of her black magic in the castle and had stored it in said bracelet, thinking about investigating it more later. When he was under attacked, FL came and ended up grabbing the bracelet that was on the ground and throwing it at the demon, defeating it immediately which surprised both her dad and brother a lot later, who didn't understand why she didn't use her magic (she is hiding the whole Magic Amnesia thing, since she is still not sure they are close enough), and how in the hell did she defeat the demon just by throwing a bracelet at him? FL is SUPER strong btw, looks like she inherited this from her deceased mother). The little demon asked her if he should destroy the bracelet immediately, but evil fiancé tells him that it would be too suspicious if the bracelet got destroyed right after she visited, so to wait a bit. Then the demon asked her if things didn't go well today, and whether she failed in recruiting the FL to their cause: evil fiancé didn't understand what he meant, and that is when he told her that he felt that FL used black magic too, and that she was also a dark mage. So the CP's fiancé changed plans: now, she will accuse the FL of being a dark mage, make up evidences, and have the imperial family eliminate her.

The ML is yet another duke from the north, haha, he is called Rudnain Yiels and he is an exceptional swordsman. He caught feelings for her almost since the first time they met and have been pursuing her but, and that is the frustrating part, she is so totally and completely convinced that she is a villainess with the worst reputation that she interprets whatever he does in the wrong way, constantly.
After 20 chapters, she has already convinced herself that the only reason he approached her was because her dad asked it from him first (that is true, he did ask him to meet his daughter once, that was dad attempt to distract his daughter from the CP), then she came up with a whole new scenario in which he is a secret investigator working for the crown prince and that he has been following her and asking her questions because he is on the job and working covertly for the CP (which is absolutely not the case, he dislikes the CP since FL liked him for years, he even attempted to contact the 3rd prince in hope that he might as well just make him the crown prince instead), whatever he does or says backfires because she is totally closed off, and it's starting to drag on and feel heavy when it's pilled up with the fact dad/brother think that she is forcing herself and that she actually still have feelings for the CP (NOT!) hence they are keeping ML at a distance and warned him not to hurt FL's feelings again, after she suffered so much heartache because of the CP.
Still, by chapter 20 he somehow managed to make her call him "Rudd", and ML has realized that to be able to approach FL he needed to conquer the father and son pair, so he has been really trying hard to look good in front of them, badmouthed the crown prince together with dad and told the older brother that he wanted to learn magic (the Yiels don't use magic, only swords, but he decided to do it anyway to get closer the FL through the brother) which caused yet another misunderstanding: the servants were whispering how FL and ML looked great together, but at the dinner table (he was invited to eat that night at the Argentrose estate) but since he was focused on dad/bro he didn't even look at her once, which made her think he was definitely not here for her. The end of the dinner was really bad too: dad/bro got drunk, FL left and ML was left with bro who tells him to give up on FL, that she didn't feel the same way about him and that he heard her say she wanted to throw away the gift the ML gave her which shattered him, because she had beautifully smiled and told him how happy she was for a bracelet he gave her (the bracelet got that mana rock she desperately needs for her sickness) so learning it was not true made him drink too. We then see him walking around at night and finally stopping at a pillar and sitting on the ground: actually, in previous chapters, he was told by his damned aide (who is not help) that he was nobody for the villainous FL, that he was at best one of the many fishes she is keeping in her little pond (reference to women who play with men's feelings, they keep them at a distance while favoring them once in a while to give them false hope) and the aide went even as far as doubting the feelings of the ML, telling him that FL was an extraordinary magician and that she could have used her powers to enchant him, ML got angry then and asked him how could he, the most powerful swordsman, not tell the difference between real feelings and fake ones? The aide answers this is not what he meant and that there are rumors that the FL was using such enchantment to make the crown prince love her, and asks the ML to at least be suspicious! This is how chapter 20 ends.

Spoiler: about the 3rd prince

Then there is the cliché delusional crown prince who thinks she is acting and that the reason there are rumors she has been seeing ML is because she was trying to make him jealous Actually, this crown prince is the 4th prince born from a concubine. At some point the empress lost both her children who were the 2 first in lines for the throne, and she decided to adopt the 4 years old 4th prince and make him the crown prince. We haven't seen neither the emperor nor the empress yet, but in a flashback about the 3rd prince (he was contacted by ML and FL's dad but burnt their letter), we learn that they called him some day and told him they were worried about him because he looked so sick, the young 3rd prince didn't understand what it was about and answered he was fine, but in front of their insistence he obviously couldn't refuse much longer so he went to the infirmary and met with the doctor like he was asked to, and ended up being handed a bottle of "medicine" and was instructed that he couldn't tell others about it and that he absolutely had to take the content himself alone and not share it...
Even if he was young, he still understood what was going on, and that he was given poison to die...the reason being the resistance of a group of nobles who wanted him to be the crown prince; he couldn't do it for several days, but in the end he resolved himself to do it because there was no way out of it, but what was inside the bottle was just water...while he wondered what was going on he heard screams from next door: his mother had collapsed...she had taken the poison in his stead. She didn't die, but got permanent brain damage. Since then, they both have lived in their corner of the palace, not getting involved with politics or the battle for the crown.
The 3rd prince want to keep this peace so that his sick mother can be safe.
FL's dad and brother wants to contact him because the crown prince's fiancé is giving them a bad feeling, and also because they thought that if they cornered the crown prince and put him in a situation in which he would need their dukedom's powers to keep his crown, than CP would submit to FL. It's contradictory to be honest, and yet another frustrating point while reading: on one side they don't want FL to be crown princess, they don't understand what she ever saw in him, the older brother also insistently told the CP that his sister wasn't acting but had truly moved on, both father and son are also pushing away ML because they don't want her to be hurt again by another man, but on the other side they also think FL is pretending to be ok while still harboring feelings for the guy, which I guess is natural considering she's been going after him for years while acting crazy and blowing off places with her bombs, but still...

Spoiler: webtoon chapter 21

I just checked the raws of chapter 21 of the webtoon, and unsurprisingly the FL found the ML on the ground while walking around, and while I don't understand what they are talking about he ML looks a lot better than his depressed self in chapter 20, so he is doing better haha
The little demon came back to destroy the bracelet, which is a lot sooner than I thought it would be and ML somehow felt something from the direction/room it was in but well, ML was drunk and far away outside together with the FL while the little demon was crawling around in a room inside the house, so looks like he got away with it without getting discovered.
