I think a particular mod would like this. The type of mod who would make a dedicated thigh-high thread.
But one must admit that the thighs are a huge contributing factor to the general attractiveness of the stockings.
The etymology of a word can be ignored or disregarded if the general opinion wills the said word to have another meaning or use. Yes, its origins and etymology matter, but not nearly as much as the general opinion. Thicc/thick is now oftenly used as a compliment because a large group (people in social media) now uses it as a compliment. Crazy and sick was an insult or derogatory word back then, but now it's usually used as a generally positive adjective. There are a lot more words where the original deifinition and/or use of a word changed drastically because of people. Edit: I could also argue that "thick/thicc" being an insult is just your opinion and that you don't speak for the others. You personally view it as an insult or something of the like, but you can't say the same for others.
The people who use the word “Thick” are usually using it in a positive manner. As a word of appreciation. Personally I would never refer to any women in that word. But from everything I’ve seen many of the people who use this word is from a certain culture and lifestyle. Where many similar words are used and the reactions I’ve seen on women from this culture is acceptance. Of course I’ve also seen many take offense to it also. I live by the golden rule. I treat people as I would like to be treated. So I’m always respectful, unless you slight me the wrong way. Than all bets are off. I like a good fight.
