I actually find it ridiculous and it's not just in BL. Even straight romance pairs have this too, like "Ghost King's Wangfei". But I guess people find that cute? Like "aww...ML is so possessive to the extent of denying their kids physical affection from the other..."
i think it‘s sometimes cute, when it‘s not that serious. Like when the MC and ML are having time alone and then comes the child and demands attention from MC and ML goes like: and what about me~ ;__; But it really is ridiculous when there is actual competetive fighting between them for MC‘s affection >__>
Right, that kinda thing is acceptable because scores of real world couples have trouble sometimes balancing between the kid and the relationship (since babies are really needy and need to be constantly watched when that young). Competitive fighting is only sorta acceptable in my books if both are competing in good fun. Like this one other het novel I read, dad was using it as a way to motivate his son lol. Son's dream is to beat/surpass his dad one day. XD
how is the interaction between MC and ML? ML sounds kinda weak and dependant on MC (i meant no self-confidence-weak), so i'm curious how MC treated him. at first MC was cold, but how did the ice heart melt? :3 does something happen to let MC fall in love with ML?
Spoiler im still at ch 27, but yea, ML doesnt have any confidence bc MC comes from rich family and it feels MC is too good for ML. MC also cold to ML for now, bc MC originally is straight, he even told ML that he'll help ML family first (money related), and let ML marry someone he likes before leave ML. But, bc ML already have feeling for MC and thought MC is his wife, so ML sad that MC said smth like that. ML always take care of MC, he even do the laundry, but MC thought if a man do smth like that he's not manly. Tbh, ML is super simple and innocent that i feel sorry bc MC acted cold to him. By now MC already 3 months pregnant, but he told the doctor to not tell anyone.
does his family ever come into the picture after he gets married?....also does he have pregnancy syptoms?
till ch 27, MC family didnt bother them yet, but idk what will happen later. He almost faint, but he told ML's family that he's only hungry, later he asked doctor to check his pulse, and he now convinced that he's rly pregnant (3 months). Not sure whether later he'll get more pregnancy symptoms though
