In 20 chapter's it has the authenticity I was looking for in New Gate but never found.

Western VRMMO【DEMONDAL】was known for its extremely harsh game system. To begin with, there were no levels. There were no skills. There were no guilds. There was no inventory. There were no convenient system messages or maps of any kind either. It was so needlessly realistic that it was already basically a VR life simulator.

As for anything game-like, it was basically limited to weapon masteries; a proficiency level that you got from using your weapon, as well as physical strength that increased as well. That was it.

It was a fantasy game so there was magic, but forming a contract with a spirit was extremely difficult, and only 1% of the playerbase were magicians.

In this VR game【DEMONDAL】that was ridiculously close to reality, the protagonist Kei who was a well known mounted archery expert, was one day sent to another world with his Russian【DEMONDAL】friend.

I once again looked but could not find the original thread, if this is it then it sucks that it has not got the limelight it should.

 

At least there is someone translating it. Not to sound ungrateful, but sometimes I wish there are translators doing a novel that I wanna read.

 

I won't argue that but it really is a gem

 

1 chapter per month...not to sound ungrateful but that will take 11 years to catch up to the 70~chapters released so far so to me its pretty much the same as there being no translator

 

It is free, so I rested my case. Still, you can always find someone else to do the job, PLEASE ASK THE CURRENT TRANSLATOR'S PERMISSION FIRST, and pay for it.

been following ti for awhile now, definitely one of the better novels imo so far... even if we are very early into the story

 

lol your math is a bit off it started this month 2 years ago and it is not in chapter 24 yet so it's only roughly 1 chapter a month

That said, it really is a good story so far I started this thing at around chapter 3 I don't regret it.

 

I just read the spoilers (pieces of it) in Animesuki and I LOVE IT. Shame still got a long way...

 

give us a chapter number and tease us... you cant just say that without any substance to back it up

 

i assume they are gonna get more busy with job or get a kid halfway through and it will be taken over by 3 other slow translators who do about 4-5 chapters with a couple of months/years inbetween each untill someone actually finishes it years later

 

i never said i would do anything about it, im just saying that to me a super slow translation and one thats not being translated is pretty much the same as they are both years away from being readable for me.

Have to level with you, the people in said site dun really list their chapter references. And every question you have links back to MTL THE RAWS YOURSELF.
I remember loving the work when Kei is such an avid believer of equality in genders.

True that, I recalled (or not?) someone actually questioned about whether the translator should pass this work to someone else. The answer was that the translator still wants to do it. I have no qualms of it being slow, heck I even forgot the work's existence until latest episode.
