Imagine you have a board game that you yourself designed. Instead of portraying everyone as a figurine, you want to portray them as tokens. For example: The king = Crown The ministers = Quill The knights = Sword and Shield The forts = Tower The peasants = Spears The ships = Ships The queen? What do you suggest we use as a symbol? Please don't suggest a whip, as it's not that kind of game. Please also don't suggest a tiara or diadem, as there would be little difference between the queen and the king then.
Thanks but it's actually in reference to 'peasant army' or 'conscription'. Not exactly about stratification.
A veil could be used I guess. Quite a few stories show the Queen hidden behind a curtain or wearing a veil, to prevent anyone from directly seeing her appearance.
Oh, sorry, just read the title. Then, what about a bleeding heart with an arrow/dagger through it. A vial of poison.
Maybe having two different types of crowns for the king and queen, much like how you see them in chess, or adding other aspects to the toquen, like a sword or a scepter for the king while the queen only has a crown. Also, maybe for the peasants use a war scythe to difference them from non conscripted units
well, the easiest would be a crown w different design (could have K/Q on them to differentiate) but u clearly said no.. a scepter - maybe too similar to spear if drawing is rly small a ring/circlet a heart a female head silhouette - but doesnt go in line w the rest a flower a Q wonder why peasants get spears... feels like that could be cavalries
Court minister. As specified above, the peasants are not in the sense of social stratification, but more in the sense of peasant soldiers and conscription. This sounds the best so far. Thanks.
