Our self owned laptops used for school work had a " Company Set Language " for browsers, my friend recommended Firefox and here I am today I do use chrome on phone though, firefox phone app is horrible
Firefox's always been good to me. Plus with the upcoming changes to chromium browsers, I'm way more happy with my choice.
i use chrome on my computer and bcs google is now ios higher than whatever i have so i need to use safari for my phone. I'm not complaining i love safari. Ahh I didn't even know there was a firefox phone app but that sounds horrible
I think so! I use three- chrome, opera, Microsoft edge. Opera saves your tabs even after you quit. That's kind of a big turn on for me
There are going to be new changes for chromium borwsers against add blockers, block less , more difficult to code
I use Opera as well. Not Opera GX. And Firefox 56 for Session Manager nur möglich they diaabled all addons for the older versions. Or mine is broken. Btw, every broswer can save your tabs. You only need to activate that option. (Start with tabs from last session.)
I guess all browsers have that setting, though not by default. For edge: go to Setting > Start, home, and new tabs > choose "Open tabs from previous the session" in "When Edge Starts" For chrome: Settings > On startup > choose "Continue where you left off" Anyway, I'm on Firefox team, simply because I'm not that fond of Chrome's rounded shapes in everything And I prefer Firefox's bookmarks library, simpler and neater for me
Brave~ Gotta get that ad money~ though, I am yet to receive any. But that built in ad blocker? *chef's kiss* Also, use Chrome for certain work-related websites.
I'm using Microsoft Edge, its more convenient to me specially when reading then I got tired reading but still want to read, so I tend to use speech synthesis instead.
I remember using FireFox for our trusty PC in the earlier days of 2011-2013. Then some Safari for a while. Some Microsoft edge. Now it's Chrome
Chrome is like your wife... Firefox your ex turned mistress. Internet explorer is that teacher you had a crush on... Safari is your step brother's wife... You've been trying to get a chance, no luck...Yet. Rest all are one night stands.
Microsoft Edge for my laptop while I mostly use Google Chrome for reading on my phone. You can add extensions so that's real swell.
Firefox forks like Librewolf (my main) or WaterFox have strictly been better to me than chrome. Better UI, less wasted resources, less clutter. Also, Librewolf is heavily privacy focused; this in turn means you need to manually neuter a lot of the privacy features if you want to use it like a 'standard' browser, but although it took me a few hours spread over a few months tuning it, the level of customization on just exactly how you want your browser is such a plus for me. Currently the biggest issue is the lack of Manifest V3 support, which means unless the developer made a port of their addon specifically for firefox, you cant just use chrome addons. HOWEVER, this #1 gate for people hesitating to switch to FF is getting fixed hopefully as a christmas present (slated for end of 2022)
