Playing games and had to watch an ad just now. Saw a video that's belong to RocketJump's Skyrim video. But a game company decide that this (the first min) vid is now an ad to their game called Eternal Crusade. And as some may expect.... it's a Chinese game. Classic thievery. Just like Qidian. Just like all these neverending thieves.(sorry that I have to say that) Sigh. Sorry. I'm just half between anger and sadness from all these Qidian drama. Any of these Chinese stuff triggers me atm lol. Anyways. Thoughts on someone(not just China) taking a person work and using it/treating it as their own?
It actually happens all the time for mobile games where Chinese companies just either copy existing ones or use characters/settings/stories from existing games and call it their own. You can easily get these games shut down on the play store but they'll come back the next day under a different name. Doesn't really happen for iOS since apple is pretty strict with these kinds of things, but in return iOS users don't have as much variety. Generally it boils down to money, if people can make a net profit by taking someone else's work and selling it as their own, someone will do it.
This happens a lot don't need to compare it with the QI problem... Since there's no legal problem there.
Tooth paste, cellphone, snack... Lots of them only change one or two letter from the original. lol. XD
