After reading so many translations of Chinese novels, I’ve started to mentally insert Chinese emoticons into my thoughts. This makes things difficult when I want to write a text or a comment and I have to find a suitable English equivalent. QAQ Is there a website or a keyboard or an app or a sticker set that allows you to use Chinese emoticons? Or are people just getting them from the Chinese novels themselves? Thanks for the help!
I have a keyboard on my phone that gives me those emoticons. It used to be with the other Chinese keyboards, but dunno if it’s the same thing for android EDIT: Found it. On iPhone, you have to go to settings < general < keyboards < add keyboards < chinese (traditional) < stroke And then, add that and there you go, unlimited chinese emoticons~
╮(╯▽╰)╭ thank you!! I’ve had a JP keyboard on my phone for years and completely missed the emojis. I’ll have to go check it out. Thanks!
One more question, if you’ll forgive me: I noticed when scrolling through the emoticons that I didn’t see the lying down emoticon I often see. Is that from a different language or non-traditional Chinese? I’d try to show you an example, but I’m not sure exactly where I last saw it. It looks a bit similar to this one: ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_
That’s the one! I mean, I thought it might be possibly be from the keys itself, but since I don’t know Chinese, I can’t figure out how to create the 」∠ part...
