The translator here.....letting people know that I've been waylaid by life, am still dealing with moving houses and have started getting up before 5 AM to get to work since the new home is further away from the office. IOW, I am really tired! Chapter 22 is about 1/4 through the initial translation. Generally I go through 3 drafts before releasing to editing.
Was trying to fix links so that ch26 is easier to get to but think I made things much worse, am not very good with these sort of things. Ch28 has been started.
I'm working the 2nd draft of ch28. There's a reference to Mencius, who one of my native Mandarin speaking friends says should be regarded like Confucius.....unsure how long it will take to properly translate that paragraph.
From what I remember, the MC, the son and the little Emperor are kidnapped. The MC feels bad and the doctor tells them, that she is pregnant. The kidnappers don’t know that they kidnapped the emperor. They want to anger the ML. The son, emperor and MC can flee and find a house in the woods with a girl and stay there till they where found by the kidnappers and the ML. There is a show down. They are rescued and go back home. Happy End
On the 2nd draft of ch31, looking at whether there may be poetic cadence (from a western perspective) that I should try to preserve. Am tired enough that part of me doesn't want to tackle that.
