    When she raped ML when she was human she became pregnant with the vine essence in her lake (the lake is like her womb). The vibes in her lake plot against her to get ML to sleep with her again when FL is already a zombie so that FL gets pregnant with a physical baby that the vines can transfer their consciousness to.

    Which I found pretty creepy tbh but whatever.

    MC raped ML right? someone said(in the comments section of the novel) that the rape was mentioned so nonchalantly to the point that it sounded so normal.That's some freaky sh i t ಠ_ಠ

    The rape happened off screen iirc, cos it was in the past, before the novel started. I think it was mentioned as an unconfirmed rumor?

    i'm now reading on chapter 581..they both still not in a realationship..it was very slow romance.
    also now till today the mcxml interaction was still very little since the mc kinda ignore ml & only talk to him about business lol. Also ml now slowly try to get close to mc but but in subtly mode.

    So guys!! Apparently viney is Lin qiao's child in her past life and the father was yang jianhua (someone she trusted before because he saved her life) I'm reading in like around chapter 1055 now and where viney was already born like a and few chapters ago. I can see a slight progress in romance I guess since it's been telling me for the past chapters that mc MC is pretty scared to fall in love or be attracted to someone since disaster happens


    Yeah I'm not good in explaining stuff so whatever

    viney is the soul (somehow) of LQ's child in past. LQ, I think got drugged and go to bed with the man who previously her trusted man (but actually he betrayed her). I think it is said that viney is the one who *trigger* the LQ's soul to another body that she now occupy.
    and in the past, when past-LQ got pregnant, only she knew.

    And the ML is the girl's father... don't worry about that. After all viney got reborn to be his child *cough*
